Shows the size and colour in your room. It can't fit to your walls, so our engineer still measures on site. The camera picture stays on your phone.

Shelves are spaced evenly. We fine-tune the spacing with you when we measure.
We set the seat height and depth to your window when we measure.
Rough sizes in millimetres are fine. Our engineer measures everything on site before anything is made.
Tick what's there and we'll handle all of it. A flat-pack kit leaves these to you.
Old walls and floors are rarely straight. Scribing means shaping the edge of the unit so it follows the wall exactly, with no gaps to fill. Every Vayton fit includes it.
We do the building work too, so you deal with one firm.
Soft-close hinges and drawer runners come as standard. Push-to-open doors use a push catch instead.
Choose the track the doors run on and the style of the door panels.
No doors in this design.
The seat lifts up, so the fronts below it are fixed panels with no handles.
Sliding doors have a slim pull built into the edge, so there are no handles to choose.
Painted in any colour you like, or a real wood finish. Colours on screen are a guide.
We'll email you a photo-quality picture of your design, usually by the next working day. Free, with no obligation.
No payment and no commitment. We'll call you to book a time for our engineer to measure.
The guarantee is on top of your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and does not affect them.
The price is an estimate. It's always best for our engineer to measure on site, and we confirm the price in writing once we've seen the walls, pipes and skirting.
Design the units either side of your chimney breast, or for a single alcove. Start from one of eight designs, set your sizes and colour, and see what making, fitting and painting them would cost.

From £1,750 fitted and painted, including VAT: one alcove of cupboards with floating shelves above, 900 mm wide.
Prices checked November 2026. Each is an estimate including VAT. Your fixed price comes in writing after our engineer measures.
Either. Most Victorian rooms have an alcove each side of the chimney breast, and the designer prices one or both. Each alcove takes its own width.
Cupboards with shelves, full-height cupboards, alcove wardrobes, a media alcove, a desk, a window seat, a library wall and a home bar. Each one opens in the designer ready to change.
Old walls rarely are. We scribe every unit to the shape of your walls and work around the skirting and cornice. That is included in the price.
The cupboard can go over it with a vented front so the heat still gets out, or our own Gas Safe registered plumber can move it. Moving it is priced after the survey.
Plug-in shelf lights need no wiring. Wired LED strips, sockets with USB and wireless charging are fitted by a registered electrician we arrange, with a certificate. A fixed allowance for that wiring is in the estimate, once per job.
