Victorian and Edwardian slate roofs
Much of Ealing, West Ealing and Hanwell is Victorian and Edwardian, often with Welsh slate, decorative ridge tiles, bay window roofs and cast iron gutters. Slates slip when their nails rust through, and we refix them with copper or stainless clips, replacing broken ones with matching or reclaimed slate.
Further out, Greenford, Perivale and Northolt have more 1930s semis with clay or concrete tiles and hipped roofs. Tell us what your roof is covered with if you know, and send a photograph from the street.
