Leaks, taps, toilets and pipework

We find and fix leaks from pipes, joints and valves, replace dripping taps and repair toilets that run, leak or will not flush. We also fit stopcocks and isolation valves, so a fault can be shut off without turning off the whole house.

Photographs help us bring the right parts: the leak or stain, the fitting itself and the pipes under the sink or behind the bath panel if you can reach them. Tell us how old the bathroom is and whether the problem is getting worse.

Radiators, boilers and bathroom plumbing

We add, move and replace radiators and valves, and flush systems with cold spots or noisy pipes. Boiler faults are handled by our Gas Safe registered engineer, and a replacement boiler is quoted after a visit.

Leaks and urgent call-outs in Bromley

If water is leaking, turn it off at the stopcock, usually under the kitchen sink. If water is near a light fitting or socket, switch the electricity off at the consumer unit and keep away from it. Then call or WhatsApp us with photographs and your postcode.

Much of Orpington, Petts Wood and outer Bromley was built between the wars, while Beckenham and Bromley town have more Victorian and Edwardian streets. Older houses can still have lead or galvanised pipework, and we will point it out if we find it.

These are typical ranges, not fixed prices. We confirm the call-out charge before anyone sets off, and the final price depends on the fault, the access and the parts.

Taps, toilets and showers	Replacing a tap or repairing a running toilet usually falls within the first hour. Fitting a new mixer or thermostatic shower typically costs £250 to £700 for the labour.
Boiler repairs	Most boiler repairs typically £200 to £500, depending on the fault and the parts. Replacement boilers are quoted after a visit.

Prices usually exclude VAT. Repairs to ceilings, walls or floors damaged by a leak are priced separately, and we can do them as part of the same job.

Can you come out today?

For urgent leaks we aim to attend the same day. Evening and weekend visits cost more, and we confirm the charge before we set off.

Are you Gas Safe registered?

Yes. Boiler and gas work is done by our Gas Safe registered engineer. Ask to see their Gas Safe ID card when they arrive, and you can check the number on the Gas Safe Register.

What to send for a useful quotation

Send your postcode, photographs of the leak, fitting or damage, what you have already tried and whether the water is off. For a boiler, add the make and model and any fault code on the display.
