How your price works

The prices here are estimates. After our engineer measures, you get a written quotation with a drawing and a fixed price including VAT, valid for 30 days.

Once you approve it, your price stays as quoted, even if our prices go up. It only changes if you change the design, or if we find something the survey couldn't show. Either way we agree the cost with you in writing before doing anything, and you can say no.

What can change the estimate

  • Your final measurements, taken by our engineer.
  • A ceiling higher or lower than 2,700 mm.
  • Building work such as moving a radiator or a socket, shown on the quotation as separate lines.
  • A premium paint maker, shown as its own line: £60 a unit for Farrow & Ball, Little Greene or Mylands, or £30 for Dulux Heritage. There is no extra charge for surveys booked from 4 January to 28 February 2027.

If our prices change between your enquiry and your quotation, we tell you the new estimate before our engineer visits. There are no extra charges for parking, the congestion charge, ULEZ or delivery.

Hinged or sliding doors

Hinged doors open each section fully and come in any of our door styles, tall to the ceiling or with top cupboards above for cases and spare bedding. Sliding doors need no space to swing, which helps when the bed sits close to the wardrobe, and they can have mirror panels.

Hinged

Plan view of a 2,400 mm wardrobe with four hinged doors swinging into the room

Each door swings out and opens its section fully.

Sliding

Plan view of a 2,400 mm wardrobe with three sliding doors on two tracks

Panels pass each other on two tracks, so nothing swings into the room. A soft-close track is standard; a premium track opens and closes softly both ways.

Inside the wardrobe

Each section gets its own layout. Tell us what has to fit, and our engineer checks the layout against it when measuring.

Four wardrobe sections side by side: long hanging, two rails, shelves, and drawers under shelves
  1. Long hanging, for coats and dresses
  2. Two rails, for shirts and trousers
  3. Shelves, for folded clothes
  4. Drawers under shelves

The building work comes in the same price

Our plumber can move a radiator that's in the way, and we arrange a registered electrician to move a socket. We take out the old wardrobes, make good the walls and paint the room.

It all goes into one fixed quotation, so one team finishes the room.

Wardrobes you've already bought

We also fit wardrobes from other suppliers. Send the product drawings and parts list before you order, so we can agree who takes the final measurements and who checks the delivery.

Fitted wardrobe ideas

In a Victorian or Edwardian bedroom, the recesses either side of the chimney breast can each take a wardrobe, often with a cupboard above. Where there's no chimney breast, a wall-to-wall run with top cupboards fills the space to the ceiling, so nothing sits on top collecting dust.

Sliding doors suit a narrow room, and mirror panels make it look bigger.

Wardrobes for sloped ceilings and loft rooms

Many London loft bedrooms have a ceiling that slopes on one side. A wardrobe can step down with it: full-height doors where there is room, and lower cupboards or drawers under the slope. What fits depends on the angle and the height at the lowest point, so our engineer measures both, and the price for a sloped design comes after that visit.

We build loft conversions as well as furniture, so the wardrobe can be planned with the room. Our loft conversions

Questions about fitted wardrobes

How much do fitted wardrobes cost in London?

Our designs run from about £1,950 to £2,100 for a 1,100 mm double wardrobe up to about £3,900 to £4,800 for a 2,400 mm wall-to-wall wardrobe with top cupboards. That is made, fitted and painted, including VAT. For surveys booked from 4 January to 28 February 2027, the launch price for that wardrobe is about £3,700 to £4,500. Your fixed price comes in writing after our engineer measures.

How long does a fitted wardrobe take?

It is usually ready 4 to 6 weeks after our engineer measures.

Is the measure visit free?

Yes. Our engineer measures your room for free, and there is no obligation to order.

Is painting included?

Yes. We paint on site in any colour from any paint maker, and the paint finish has a 2-year guarantee. A smoother finish sprayed in our workshop costs extra.

What guarantee do I get?

10 years on the units and our workmanship, and 2 years on the paint finish.

Can you fit wardrobes either side of a chimney breast?

Yes. In Victorian and Edwardian bedrooms the recesses either side of the chimney breast can each take a wardrobe, often with a cupboard above. Our engineer checks the depth when measuring.

Can you move a radiator or a socket that is in the way?

Yes. Our Gas Safe plumber can move a radiator, and a registered electrician we arrange can move a socket. That work goes into the same fixed quotation.

Are there extra charges for parking or delivery?

No. There are no charges for parking, the congestion charge, ULEZ or delivery.
